JUN 7 ARRIVE KUALA LUMPUR
Arrive Kuala Lumpur International Airport via MH 3 ETA 0725hrs, you will be met & transferred to hotel. Check in to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

JUN 8 KUALA LUMPUR (B/D)
Full Day Kuala Lumpur tour
After breakfast, we visit the famed Batu Caves and Pewter Workshop. The main cave, Temple cave is a large cavern with a vaulted ceiling about 100 m above the floor. Many Hindus pay their devotions to the Lord Murga by climbing the 272 steps to reach the entrance. Then, visit a pewter workshop to see the actual process of making these wares. There will be a visit to a handicraft centre. In the afternoon, we do Kuala Lumpur city tour covering the major historical landmarks - King`s Palace, National Monument, National Mosque and Merdeka (Independence) Square. Much of the history of the city is depicted here as well as the tradition and cultural heritage of the major communities. Included in this tour is a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Tower plus an opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the observation deck of the KL Tower. This evening, we dine at a Malay Restaurant with a cultural show. After dinner, we will visit the Chinatown night market. This is a busy bazaar offering cheap bargains from clothes, leatherwear, watches and food..

JUN 9 KUALA LUMPUR - MALACCA (B)
Travel southbound to Malacca on the highway and on arrival start exploring the city. Visit the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum to see a typical set up for a peranakan family in the early days.Other highlights in the tour include the Stadthuys, St Paul's Church ruins, Porta De Santiago, and Cheng Hoon Teng Temple. Walk along Jonker Street for it's antique & souvenir shops. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Malacca.

JUN 10 MALACCA – KUALA LUMPUR - PENANG (B)
Morning free at leisure.Transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for flight to Penang via MH 1152 ETD 1600hrs. Upon arrival at 1650hrs, meet and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

JUN 11 IN PENANG (B)
Penang City HallToday you explore Penang - the Pearl of the Orient and the oldest British settlement in Malaysia. Visits include the Khoo Kongsi (Dragon Mountain Hall) clan house with its ancient design constructed to capture the splendour of an Imperial palace, the historical Fort Cornwallis and the Thai temple of Wat Chayamangkalaram, which houses a 32 metres reclining Buddha.
Located about 30 minutes drive from the city is the military fortress built in the 1930's by the British to protect the Island from enemies. Situated on 20 acres of land, it is an integrated fortress constructed on what is now called Bukit Batu Maung. The British Royal Engineers and a work force comprises of local laborers blasted and dug intothe hill to create a fort with underground military tunnels, intelligence and logistic center, halls, ventilation shafts, canon firing, sleeping quarters, as well as medical infirmary. This is memorable visit to one of the significant battle scenes in Malaya during the World War II.

JUN 12 PENANG – CAMERON HIGHLANDS (B)
Travel to Cameron Highlands via the Penang Bridge. Visit the Orang Utan Island at Bukit Merah Laketown. Main attraction here is the infant care centre unit where you can get close to the baby orang utans. Continue to Kuala Kangsar to see the Ubudiah Mosque - a magnificent building with golden dome and the former palace of the Sultan of Perak with its intricate woodcarvings. Depart for Ipoh - the city of millionaires’ which made its fortune from the rich tin mines of Kinta Valley, the heart of tin dredging in Malaysia. You will visit one of the famous Cave Temples in Ipoh. On the way up to the highlands via Simpang Pulai, enjoy the scenic mountain road until your arrival to Cameron Highlands. Settle in your hotel.

JUN 13 CAMERON HIGHLANDS - TAMAN NEGARA (B/D)
Transfer to Kuala Tembeling followed by riverboat to Kuala Tahan. Overnight at air-conditioned chalet at Taman Negara Resort. Video presentation and Night Jungle Walk in the evening.

JUN 14 TAMAN NEGARA (B/L/D)
Full day excursion to Bukit Teresek, Canopywalk and Lata Berkoh. Bukit Teresek (334 metres) can be reach in 45 mins and one can enjoy a panoramic view of Gunung Tahan and the forest canopy. The canopy walkway stretches about 500 metres and with a height of 30 metres, visitors have a rare opportunity to experience the wilderness from a vantage point. Lata Berkoh is a spectacular cascade that marks the limit of easy navigability on the river. There is a deep pool below the cascade and rocky area overlooking the rapids offers an ideal place to relax.

JUN 15 TAMAN NEGARA – KUANTAN (B)
Depart Kuala Tahan by riverboat to Kuala Tembeling. Meet at Kuala Tembeling Jetty , then overland to Kuantan. Check into hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

JUN 16 KUANTAN – TANJONG JARA (B)
Cherating Village is a tranquil kampong and it is here where you will see the monkeys plucking the coconuts and the villagers` craft in weaving. Continue journey into the state of Terengganu you will pass through Kijal famous for it's lemang - glutinous rice stuffed into lengths of bamboo. The coastal road is fringed with green casuarinas and swaying coconut palms and tranquil wooden houses. Terengganu is a state full of cultural heritage including songket weaving and batik printing. Check into hotel. Tanjong Jara Beach

JUN 17 IN TANJONG JARA (B)
Day at leisure. Optional excursion available at the resort include snorkeling trip to the nearby Island & Kampong Tour.

JUN 18 TANJONG JARA – KLIA – KUCHING (B)
Transfer to airport for flight to Kuching via Kuala Lumpur via MH 1327 ETD 1005hrs & MH 2536 ETD 1400hrs. Upon arrival at 1545hrs, meet and transfer to hotel. Evening Sarawak River Cruise. JUN 19 IN KUCHING (B)
Morning Semonggok Wildlife Sanctuary - The best place in Sarawak to view semi-wild orang utans, who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve. The rehabilitated animals roam freely in the rain forest, and often return to the centre at feeding time. Thanks to the successful breeding programme at Semonggok there is a good possibility of experiencing one of the most heart-warming sights in Borneo – an orang utan mother with a young baby. The centre is 30 minutes drive from Kuching and another 20 minutes on foot. Along the way visitors pass by the ethno-botanical gardens, with their unique collection of rain-forest plants. Semenggok also has a number of short jungle trails and optional forest walks can be incorporated into the tour. Return to hotel.
Afternoon Kuching City tour. The perfect introduction to Sarawak’s historic capital, this tour includes Kuching’s Chinatown, the Cat Statue (Kuching means “Cat” in Malay), the colourful Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, the Civic Centre Viewing Platform and the world famous Sarawak Museum. Across river, visit the unique Cat Museum, passing the magnificent State Mosque and the Astana, the former residence of the White Rajahs. Return via the golden-domed City Mosque and proceed on foot through Old Kuching, visiting the colourful Central Markets and squeezing through narrow alleyways crammed with spice dealers and textile shops. Pass by the heritage buildings of the White Rajah era, the Pavilion, the Square Tower, the Court House, the Charles Brooke Monument and the Post Office.

JUN 20 KUCHING – SIBU – DURIN (B)
Morning at leisure.In the afternoon, transfer to airport for flight to Sibu via MH 3694 ETD 1400hrs. Arrive at 1445hrs, transfer from the airport to the ship moored at the Burung Apu Warf next to the Express Boat Terminal. There will be a guided walk through Sibu in the late afternoon (15:00). We will visit the main market and Chinese temple. Cast off in the evening cruising upstream towards the Durin Bridge.

JUN 21 KANOWIT RIVER
Cruise up the Rajang River to Kanowit where, water levels permitting, we will enter the Kanowit River and cruise deep into the jungle.Return to the Rajang and moor at Kanowit for a walk around the small river port. Cast off from Kanowit mid afternoon and continue upstream until sunset.

JUN 22 KAPIT
Morning walk through Kapit. We will visit the Teresang Market and the handicraft museum . After lunch, we will travel by mini van to a traditonal wooden long house to experience customary "miring" (goodwill ceremony). Return to ship and cast off to move upriver.

JUN 23 PELAGUS RAPIDS
Transfer to a tong-kang (local work boat) and move upriver past shoals and fast flowing eddies to the famous Pelagus Rapids. We explore the rock strewn rivers edge at food of rapids before returning to Pandaw for lunch. In the afternoon we will go jungle trekking on trails exclusively prepared for Pandaw passengers, across the river from Kapit. On the trail, which takes 3 hours, we will encounter copses of bamboo, wild fruit trees, waterfalls, and wonderful views across river to Kapit.

JUN 24 THE BALEH RIVER
We will travel by open expressboat up the Baleh River to the Palawan area; a picturesque location on the fast flowing river. You will see some spectacular shipwrecks, a small inlet with rapids and a longhouse perched on a bluff above that is seldom visited by tourists. We will have a picnic lunch on a sandbar. As we return downstream, we will call into the small Nanga Mujong settlement for a walk and visit to the school. Return to ship and move downstream to arrive at Song in the late afternoon.

JUN 25 SONG / THE KATIBAS RIVER
HouseEarly rising passengers will have the option to embark on an early morning excursion. Passengers who opt to take this excursion will depart at 6am on small flatboats and head up the Sungei Song or Sungei Iran tributaries to witness birdlife and greet longhouse folk travelling downstream to market.All passengers will meet back on Pandaw for breakfast and later transfer to covered longboats to travel some distance up the Katibas river; stopping at Nanga Kebian to taste the palm wine ljok which is unique to the Song area. Return to the ship for lunch and cruise downstream into the heart of the Rajang delta.

JUN 26 SARIKEI / RAJANG DELTA
We arrive at Sarikei early morning and transfer to vans to travel to Rumah Nyuka longhouse. From this longhouse a choice of twotreks are offered, depending on passenger fitness. Both treks lead to pretty waterfalls. After treks there will be refreshments andactivities at the longhouse. Rubber and pepper drying (when in season) will be witnessed in the longhouse grounds as well as traditional weaving and basket making. After lunch, passengers have the option of taking a second trek before returning to Pandaw.

JUN 27 THANJUNG MANIS
Cast off early to visit the fisherman's wharf at Rajang village, situated at the month of the Rajang River. This is a small Melanau village with vibrant traditional cottage industries. Freshly caught fish are transformed into delicious, crispy fish crackers. Visit the famous Songket weaving workshop - one of the very weaving factories left, where fine clothes are made by hand. It counts the royal family and Sultan of Brunei amongst its customers.

JUN 28 SIBU – KOTA KINABALU
Dock in Sibu early morning and disembark and transfer to airport for your flight to Kota Kinabalu via MH 3182 ETD 1100hrs. Upon arrival at 1235hrs, meet and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

JUN 29 KOTA KINABALU (B/L)
Full Day Kinabalu Park with lunch

Drive 2 hours overland (88 km) through padi-fields and Dusun villages over the ridges of the Crocker Range to the park headquarters of Kinabalu National Park. Nominated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Kinabalu Park is one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Here, Mt. Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia towers majestically at 4095 m (13431 feet).
