 阿里山國家森林遊樂區簡介 |
| 阿 里山國家森林遊樂區位於嘉義市東方75公里，地處海拔2000公尺以上，東臨玉山山脈與玉 山國家公園相鄰，四周高山環列，氣候涼爽，平均氣溫為攝氏10.6度，夏季平均14.3度，冬季平均氣溫6.4度。阿里山國家森林遊樂區西靠嘉南平原，北 界雲林、南投縣，南接高雄、台南縣，阿里山國家森林遊樂區全部屬於國有林班地，總計面積高達1400公頃。 |
| 阿里山國家森林遊樂區－阿里山五奇 |
| 阿 里山的日出、雲海、晚霞、森林與高山鐵路，合稱阿里山五奇：阿里山鐵路有70多年歷史是世 界上僅存的三條高山鐵路之一，途經熱、暖、溫、寒四帶，景緻迥異，搭乘火車如置身自然博物館。尤其三次螺旋環繞及第一分道的Ｚ字形爬升，更是難忘的經驗； 祝山是觀賞日出的最佳地點，要到祝山可坐火車或從林務局招待所旁的石板路循階而去，穿過森林大約40分即可到達。 |
| 阿里山國家森林遊樂區－姐妹潭、受鎮宮 |
| 姐 妹潭是二個大小不同的鄰近湖泊，『姊潭』呈長方形，佔地160坪、『妹潭』略呈圓形，佔地 20坪，相傳有二位山地女孩在此雙雙殉情，故後人附會而稱姐妹潭；姐潭湖區還設有一座以檜木為基座的相思亭，姐妹潭週邊更設有全長180公尺的環潭步道， 可讓遊客遊覽全湖是觀賞姐妹潭最佳的方式；夏季為滿水期，冬季則為枯水期。 受鎮宮奉祀玄天上帝、福德正神和註生娘娘，香火非常鼎盛，傳說以往每年３月都有三隻神蝶飛來朝拜，不吃不飛一週後就不見蹤影，傳為神跡；三代木同一根株， 能枯而後榮，重覆長出祖孫三代的樹木，是造化的神奇安排。如今第一、二代的前身均已枯老橫頹，第三代卻仍然欣欣向榮。 阿里山國家森林遊樂區內還有許多著名的景點如慈雲寺、貴賓館(蔣公行館)每星期三開放、樹靈塔、高山植物園、塔山斷崖、三代木、三兄弟、象鼻木、香林神木、高山博物館及眠月支線鐵路(整建中尚未通車)也是到阿里山旅遊不可錯過的景點。 |
| 阿里山國家森林遊樂區－螢火蟲季節 |
| 四 月至六月的螢火蟲季節，阿里山的原始自然生態也是最佳的賞螢地點，萬隻螢火蟲聚集的景象， 走進與星空連成一片的螢火蟲燈海，阿里山國家風景區管理處並彙集了七大賞螢路線依序為茶山-屯阿巴娜自然生態區，奮起湖-火車站往土地公沿線，太和-花石 溪生態保護區，瑞里-若蘭山莊，瑞里國小、三華民宿，光華村-驛馬溪農場，豐山-村落至觀景台沿線，里佳-親水步道。其中，以瑞里、茶山、太和、奮起湖較 為著名。 |
| 阿里山國家森林遊樂區－櫻花季 |
| 每 年三月中旬至四月中旬的阿里山花季，也是不可錯過的年度大戲，每年因天候的不同櫻花開放的 時間也會些許不同，千島櫻、山櫻花、吉野櫻、八重櫻都將依序綻放，最高潮為潔白似雪、燦爛耀眼的花季主角—吉野櫻，屆時把阿里山粧點成一片美麗繽紛醉人的 花海世界，美不勝收。其他花卉如森氏杜鵑、石楠花、毛地黃等等也都會依序綻放。 |
| 阿里山國家森林遊樂區－李樹花海 |
| 阿 里山櫻花季裡，除了櫻花之外，還有木蘭、射干菖蒲、森氏杜鵑、台灣一葉蘭等花卉也都同時會 進入綻放期。如果不想和賞花遊客人潮擠在一起，不妨考慮鄰近阿里山公路的鄒族部落，較低海拔的樂野、達邦等鄒族部落也是春花怒放的時日。若想一窺李花落英 繽紛的盛景，順著奮起湖連接嘉162線可以來到開花正盛的太和。太和地區的居民，以種植農作物為主要的經濟來源。茶園裡面、甚至家家戶戶的門前，大部份都 種植著李樹。每到二、三月，李花開花的時候，那隨風招搖的李樹花海，真令人賞心悅目、流連忘返。 |

| 1、火車：由嘉義北門火車站搭乘阿里山森林火車即可到達阿里山國家森林遊樂區。 2、公車：由嘉義市區搭乘縣營公車往阿里山方向之班車即可到達阿里山國家森林遊樂區。 3、客運：由台北西站搭乘國光客運往阿里山方向之班車即可到達阿里山國家森林遊樂區。 |

| 由嘉義火車站起站，途經北門、竹崎、木屐寮、樟腦寮、獨立山、梨園寮、交力坪、水社寮、奮起湖、多林、十字路、屏遮那、第一分道、二萬坪、神木至阿里山底站。阿里山森林火車平日行駛上山5次列車、下山6次列車；周六、周日和阿里山櫻花季舉辦期間視旅客多寡調整班次。 ※班次變動主要以阿里山森林鐵路公告為主。 |
